Inspiration: The need for people to avoid social interaction to better our country as a whole. Stores main sense of business usually involves social interaction.
What it does: The online website and drop box locations lessen the spread of coronavirus because there will be no physical interaction.
How we built it: First, we began pitching our ideas. After coming up with our solution, we went onto Figma and created our ideal prototype website to represent a small business. Once done with that, we created a Powerpoint presentation to fully explain the project and recorded our submission video.
Challenges we ran into: When we were trying to create our prototype website, we struggled with learning how to work the system but with time, we got through it. Then, we had some technical difficulties while recording our submission video.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Creating a whole prototype website without full knowledge of computer programming and working together as a team to make something beautiful.
What we learned: We learned how to use a new software that will enable us to better ourselves in our futures and we can do anything as long as we try our best and put our minds to it.
What's next for Men of Science- Business Digitization: Hopefully we can keep this idea and someday make it into an actual business.
