The Spark

We started with a simple truth: students don't fail because they're not smart—they fail because they miss information. When attention drops in lectures, critical insights slip away. We built Memry AI to bridge that gap: a platform that doesn't just record lectures, but transforms them. Using AI, we transcribe, analyze, and simplify dense academic content into digestible knowledge—complete with flashcards, notes, and personalized learning flows that help students actually retain what they learn.

Building Against the Odds

What started as an ambitious idea quickly became a crash course in teamwork. We had different skill levels, different specialties, and honestly, moments where we doubted we could pull it off. Our developers didn't think they could design. Our UI/UX designer had never touched ML/AI code. But we covered for each other—experimenting, suggesting, problem-solving together. The devs surprised themselves with UI contributions. The designer dove into AI logic with the team's support. We debugged errors at midnight, laughed through frustrations, and slowly watched something real take shape.

Ten days felt impossible at the start. But here we are: an app, shipped on time, built by a team that learned to trust each other's strengths and fill each other's gaps.

What's Next For Memry AI

We're proud of what we built, but we know this is just the beginning. Memry AI proved we could turn uncertainty into momentum—and now we're ready to take it further. The next step? Refining the AI, expanding learning tools, and reaching more students who need information to work for them, not against them. We built this because learning shouldn't be about fighting to keep up. It should be about understanding, retaining, and growing. And that's exactly where we're headed.
