Inspiration
We were inspired to make this game because we are all students and we often have a hard time focusing and remembering things so we were hoping to make something fun to help fix that problem.
What it does
It's a game to help with memorization by showing you a maze for a few seconds, then hiding all the walls of the maze and prompting the player to try and make it to the end with what they remembered of the maze for the few seconds they saw it.
How I built it
We built the game using Unity and coding our scripts in C#.
Challenges I ran into
We ran into issues with the physics of the engine making parts of our game slide around even when they should have been stationary, as well as issues with transition the levels and collisions.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The sprites that we made for the game and that we managed to get a lot of our vision to actually come
What I learned
We learned a lot about using Unity and C# and how certain physics work within the engine.
What's next for Memory Maze
First thing would be creating a Main Menu of some kind as right now you are just thrown into the game with no instructions. Random Generation of Mazes and creating a point system instead of a level system. We would also like to
