MemoryGarden : Turn Your Memories Into a Garden Every time someone records a happy memory, achievement, or something they're grateful for, a new flower grows in their personal digital garden.

Inspiration

The inspiration comes from a my love for nature , I was thinking to build something where I show add abut nature. From the hackathon into video about To Do app I got an idea that why not expand that simple to do to journal where I can write my memories and Instead of simple journal pick something else. Than Nature idea comes in and I love to build it. Note : For idea brainstorming I use tools like GPT/Gemini and finally came up with this idea.

What it does

It is use to note down user memories and link them with a flower , than grow that flower into the garden. (so per memory there is beautiful flower in the garden). When user came back we can click the flower to see his memory in a journal.

How we built it

I build it using vibe codding (claude code) , start with skills that were mention in project intro video and in resources.

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenge that I face is to revise the plan even after skills plan and first phase is done (but that revise plan is only for assets e.g images and videos) that's because initially We plan visuals with code but later I decide to make them on myself.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishments that we are proud of is that finally We build end to end project in devspot. It's my first time when I completely build a project in devspot earlier that I joined some of the devspot hackathon but because of poor planning I didn't completely build that project and got stuck at the middle but this time skills help me a lot.

What we learned

The important lessons that that we learn are is the planning before going to so and for that the skills helps me a alot, before that project I were doing vibe coding but this was the first time I used to learn how to skills for planning before going to code phase.

What's next for Memory Garden : Where Memories Bloom

Currently It didn't have any login (authentication and authorisation) and no memory sharing between friends (without these the good part is your notes remain in your own system when you explore Memory Garden online at -https://memory-garden-10l.pages.dev/ that's for privacy) I am planning to expand it by adding these features.
