Inspiration
All of us have used digital flashcards to review for our classes, and since many popular flashcard sites like Quizlet have put their most valuable features behind paywalls, we wanted to create a version that retains the most important functionalities.
What it does
It's an interactive site where users can add flashcards relating to their study materials and review them.
How we built it
We used Figma to plan the layout of our website and visualize each component. We used React.js as the framework for the website, and worked with CSS and HTML to organize the site.
Challenges we ran into
We had several instances of technical difficulties when we were implementing the website. We first had some issues using the LiveShare function on VSCode, and had to spend time debugging certain parts of the website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a version of the website that has the basic functionalities that we planned for.
What we learned
We learned about using Figma, Webflow, and React.js to build a website.
What's next for FlashForward
We want to add more learning features such as a timed quiz and study games, as well as a study plan for users to plan a study schedule based on when their exam is.
