At Hack the North, we were aware that as high school students, the best action to take would be to have fun while incorporating new elements. We were fairly new to APIs, and wanted to explore how they functioned as well as how to implement them into Android Applications. That is why we chose to use the Twilio API to allow for text messaging within our application.
