Inspiration

Meme-ing(is that even a word?) is a sport and you gotta take it seriously.

Memes are currently the most wide-spread form of creativity, every person has seen memes in one form or other at some point in their lives.

But sadly there isn't any website dedicated to organising Meme-slams exclusively. sad noises

There are contests for writing stories, articles, songs then why not MEMES!? As a meme-lover and memer, we thought of giving a platform to all our fellow memers, so that they can unleash their inner meme-god. Another practical use of this is, organisers of any event can also organise MemeSlam on this website as part of their event, thus providing their events with the publicity and also making their events fun because let's be honest, who doesn't love a good laugh?

What it does

We have made a website where you can organise MemeSlams, by filling out the details. The users can register for the contests,and upload their submissions. Every Meme-Slam will adhere to some theme, and therefore it is expected that the participants make memes, related to the theme. We also have a meme gallery to honour our memers.

Challenges I ran into

Time crunch would be an issue, and we couldn't make the firebase code work, which was kinda sad. So we had to use our extra brain cells,(and we were short on them, trust me).
