Inspiration

I just wanted to make a funny meme generator, and I wanted to see how far AI can go!

What it does

You input an image, write some text, then tada! A meme will generate for you to download. You can also view the generator in party mode for a surprise!

How I built it

Using mainly ChatGPT!

Challenges I ran into

The AI would not change the code or fix its mistakes. One main challenge I ran into was the party mode as the AI would not understand exactly what I pictured.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the background and how it changes in party mode. I am also proud that I did this in such a short time (probably a day or two max I worked on it).

What I learned

To make AI really work you need to be specific with what you ask it to do. Sometimes it will give the same code again and again to try and fix your problem; when this happens, it is best to look at the code yourself. A big lesson I learned is that AI may not be able to replace programmers, but it can be good at helping with some of the programming.

What's next for Memerator

Creating GIFs! And even making it so that you can search google for an image, and make a textbox appear anywhere as well as change the color of the text!
