What inspired us is the stories of people with dementia, how they are diagnosed, how the tackle the news and how they cope with it. We came up with the idea before the event started and teamed up to try and see if it is viable.
The target users are people recently diagnosed with dementia. These people will be referred to the online platform to record their memories themselves or with a family member before it becomes difficult for them to recall. The purpose is to create empathy between the person and the caregivers in the advanced stages and also to provide an enjoyable activity by reviewing happy memories with family and friends.
