Inspiration

Preparing for software engineering interviews is often fragmented. Students use separate platforms for resume building, DSA tracking, interview preparation, and career planning. As a result, progress gets lost and learning becomes inconsistent.

We wanted to build Memento OS, an AI-powered Career Operating System that acts as a personal career coach, remembers user progress, identifies weaknesses, and continuously adapts interview preparation over time.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was designing a memory-aware architecture capable of storing long-term learning history and using it to personalize future interview sessions.

Another challenge was creating an operating-system-style experience while keeping the interface clean, modern, and intuitive.

We also explored how AI-generated recommendations could remain relevant as users improve over time.
