Inspiration

We wanted to build something that lets older members of the family, like grandparents, get closer to their loved ones

What it does

Memento is a multimodal storytelling and journaling app that helps elderly users preserve memories about meaningful objects and pass them on to their loved ones. Users take a photo, have a guided AI converse with them about it, and store the memories in a library for loved ones to view. Another important aspect of this project is its ability to support the well-being of elderly users by identifying potential changes in behavior, speech patterns, or memory that could indicate cognitive decline, emotional distress, or other health concerns. Everything and anything they want to say is preserved and cherished forever!
