Inspiration
The inpiration came from my own love for memes.
What it does
It creates memes with memes images, we just have to type the text for the meme.
How we built it
I used vanilla HTML, CSS and Javascript. I also used imgflip.com's api for getting the memes images. Then I inserted the text over it using the canvas method with javascript.
Challenges we ran into
It was difficult to figure out api calls with the imgflip and I got many errors but I figured it out in the end.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This meme generator can be used in the real world for creating memes for fun or even commercial use too.
What we learned
I learned how to use api calls and how to use canvas element from javascript.
What's next for Meme Generator
This project can be scalled for real world.
