meme archive bot

Inspiration

I am a meme lover my self and wanted to build a community and a bot that will bring laughs on peoples faces, that's when this idea hit my mind

What it does

My telegram bot search for memes in other telegram channel and re-posts the memes on hourly basis. Users can also submit memes which will be reviewed by admins , the reviewed meme get posted on channel. In same manner users can also submit meme templates. These templates once approved can be used to make meme using inline queries . It also has subscriber tracker of the channel which uses matplotlib to make graph.

How we built it

I built it using python. I have used telethon for interacting with telegram , matplotlib to make the subcriber tracker graph, supabase to talk to data base, opencv python to render meme made using templates

Challenges we ran into

The project is working, at first there were challenges like malformed templates and long latency .
