Inspiration
I watched developers bounce off MemMachine because deployment was too complex. Brilliant tech, dead on arrival for most teams. Three hours to prove it didn't have to be that way.
What it does
One-command deployment of production-ready MemMachine to GCP. No configuration hell. No "works on my machine" disasters. Vector database, monitoring, scaling - all handled. You go from zero to running MemMachine in minutes, not days.
How we built it
Claude Code + my deployment framework + GCP infrastructure. I architected the system, set up the cloud foundation, then turned Claude loose on the automation. Three hours, solo build.
Challenges we ran into
Database configuration tried to kill the timeline. Values were wrong, connections failed. Debugged it, fixed it, shipped it. Time pressure forced ruthless prioritization - no polish, just function.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Proving complex deployments don't need complexity. Three hours, working system, real solution to a real barrier.
What we learned
"Good enough to ship" beats "perfect someday."
What's next for Memcloud
AWS and Azure support. Auto-scaling rules. Cost optimization presets. Turn this proof-of-concept into the deployment standard for MemMachine.
