Building MELTcha as a solo developer for a global hackathon was a significant challenge, especially while juggling other commitments. To manage the workload and tight deadline, I utilized AI as a supportive tool throughout the development process. It assisted with generating code, debugging, and brainstorming, which complemented my own programming skills and allowed me to build efficiently. The project was inspired by a popular online trend of studying "until the ice melts," and I brought it to life using React and Tailwind CSS. The most difficult part was perfecting the melting ice animation. This experience was a great lesson in leveraging modern tools to bring a creative idea to life independently. I'm even considering a "study until the candle burns out" version in the future.
