The inspiration behind MelodyMuse stemmed from my passion for music and the desire to empower aspiring musicians with a tool that facilitates their creative process. I wanted to develop an app that not only generates melodies but also assists users in composing complete musical pieces.
What it does
MelodyMuse is a music composition assistance app that helps users generate original melodies, suggest chord progressions, and explore different instrumentations. It provides a platform for users to experiment with various musical elements and bring their creative ideas to fruition.
How we built it
I built MelodyMuse using PartRock and Large Language Models for melody generation, and a user-friendly interface.
Challenges we ran into
I also faced difficulties in optimizing the user interface to ensure a smooth user experience, especially when dealing with complex chord progressions and instrumentations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud to have developed a functional and intuitive music composition assistant that empowers users to unleash their creativity and explore new musical ideas.
