Our game is simple and engaging. After pressing a button to hear a melody, you'll find three spheres on a table in the center of the room. Your task is to carry each sphere around the room and match it with the melody you heard. The intriguing twist is subtly integrated: as you move through the room, the sounds from the spheres change, adding a layer of challenge to finding the correct match.
The feeling that we are trying to convey here is that it allows the user to learn and tune their musical ear via a gamified experience in escape rooms. This experience would be used as a supplemental musical education application to allow for visual music education!
Our team was Matt, Alex, and Piram.
Matt was our lead engineer/game designer and was responsible for coding from the ground up in Unity and building to the Quest 2
Alex was our Audio Engineer and the XR Designer - she built the songs that we are using for the escape room and created other content for the experience.
Piram was the Designer - he built the assets, materials, and the UX/UI for the application.
