Inspiration

Melbourne is world renowned for its vibrant café culture but even in a city full of amazing coffee, people can still feel disconnected. At a time when loneliness is becoming a growing epidemic, we were inspired to create an app that brings people together through something they already love: coffee. Our platform combines café recommendations, map-based discovery, open discussions, and social event creation, turning solo coffee breaks into opportunities for genuine connection. Whether you're a newcomer or a local, a beginner or a connoisseur, our app makes it easier to find great coffee and even better company. In short, we’re blending Melbourne’s passion for coffee with a deeper purpose: building community.

• gives recommendation based on preferences
• has a discussion forum to discuss all things coffee related
• community function also allows to create new events

What's next for MelBrew

We may bring in partner cafes and partner content creators onto our app. We may also introduce a reward system so that users can obtain vouchers with our partners.
