What it does
A music video featuring an animated character I produced
How we built it
I created video clips directly from images generated in Midjourney and edited it in After Effects.
Challenges we ran into
Achieving consistency in atmosphere and reproducing the characters' blindfolds proved difficult. Additionally, there were challenges in realizing the movements specified in the script.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We resolved the aforementioned issues and completed the music video.
What we learned
My first live-action project taught me how to present characters and compositions differently from animation. Using Midjourney for the first time also helped me understand how it differs from my usual tools.
What's next for 眼覆-Mekaxie- MV "-依存衝動-Impulse Control Disorders"
"眼覆 -Mekaxie-" explores themes of philosophical thought and dimly lit worlds that people avert their eyes from or keep silent about. Moving forward, I will continue designing characters within this worldview, regardless of whether it's live-action or animation. I will produce a one-season series resembling Japanese commercial animation and create an additional music video series.
