Inspiration

The inspiration behind MeFeels stemmed from a poignant user story shared by a parent seeking assistance in fostering their child's emotional intelligence and understanding of emotions.

What it does

The MeFeels web application is a comprehensive platform designed to support emotional well-being and expression for toddlers,teens and young adults. Through interactive features such as mood journals, story mode adventures, and mentorship sessions, MeFeels provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore, learn, and express their emotions. With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, the platform caters to toddlers, teens, and young adults, offering age-appropriate resources and guidance. Parents can also benefit from tools for supervising their children's activity and engaging in their emotional development. MeFeels aims to foster a sense of community and connection, empowering users to embrace their feelings and navigate life's ups and downs with confidence and resilience.

How we built it

Utilizing Figma, we crafted both Lo and Hi-Fi prototypes to bring our vision to life.

We're particularly proud of achieving several milestones during the Hackathon, including successfully developing a prototype within the designated timeframe. Additionally, crafting a web application that not only benefits our peers but also supports our fellow college classmates has been a significant accomplishment for us.

What we learned

Through collaboration, we honed our time management skills and adeptly tailored the application to cater to various age groups, ultimately mastering the art of rapid web app development.

What's next for MeFeels

Next steps for MeFeels include integrating meditation podcasts, adult coloring therapy, and incorporating a spiritual dimension tailored to the young adults section. Furthermore, we're exploring avenues to incorporate free clinics into the platform, allowing us to provide valuable resources and recommend it to our target audience.
