Inspiration

With varying timetables among different people, it is hard for people to arrange meet-ups for inter-disciplinary projects or for a casual chit-chat

What it does

Help people arrange meet-ups by filtering through their UCL timetables and generating a table of timings in a range of dates (chosen by the user) when everyone is free

How I built it

Used python and the UCL API for timetable

Challenges I ran into

The JSON timetable provided by the API is messy which requires fixes and clean-ups to utilise the data properly

What's next for MeetUp

Developing a web/app front-end interface for our program and integration with UCL's Room Booking API so that users can not only view their common available time, but also view the available room spaces at those timings and easily book them with a click through our application.
