Meet My Tailor was born out of a simple urban frustration — getting clothes tailored is often slow, inconvenient, and unreliable. In an era where food and groceries arrive within minutes, we asked: why not tailoring too?

To offer doorstep tailoring services that pick up unstitched clothes and deliver back the perfectly tailored outfit — all within 6 hours. Speedy, seamless, and trustworthy.

Tech Stack & Tools 🛠️

We’re building a mobile-first platform using:

React Native for a cross-platform mobile app experience.
Supabase for authentication, database, and backend services.
GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
Netlify to deploy any supporting web services and admin dashboards.
Hostinger to manage our custom domain and DNS configurations.
Google Maps API for live routing, pickups, and real-time delivery tracking.

I independently built the entire Meet My Tailor application end to end. This included:

Ideation & Planning: Defined the core problem, envisioned the solution, and structured the 6-hour doorstep tailoring workflow.

UI/UX Design: Created clean, intuitive, and mobile-first interface designs using Figma to optimize user experience.

Frontend Development: Built a cross-platform mobile app using React Native, focusing on smooth request flows, real-time status updates, and user trust.

Backend & Database: Integrated Supabase for user authentication, database management, and API endpoints to manage tailoring requests and logistics.

Maps & Tracking: Implemented Google Maps API for real-time pickup/drop routing and live order tracking.

DevOps & Deployment: Used GitHub for version control, deployed web assets via Netlify, and configured the custom domain using Hostinger.

Testing & Optimization: Manually tested app flows across devices, improved performance, and ensured all features worked under the 6-hour delivery constraint.
