Inspiration
As a sales professional, I’d wasted hours researching attendees and drafting follow-ups—missing key connection points that win deals. I wanted to build a tool that turns chaotic meeting prep into a streamlined, confident experience for B2B teams, blending intuitive design with AI-driven insights to level the playing field.
What it does
MeetMind empowers sales reps, recruiters, and executives to master every meeting: it researches attendee backgrounds, generates tailored icebreakers/talking points, automates post-meeting summaries/action items, and syncs with calendars/CRMs to keep workflows seamless. The platform’s dynamic dashboard makes it easy to access all meeting-critical tools in one place.
How we built it
We started with Figma to design a visually immersive UI (glassmorphism, animations, gradient accents) aligned with enterprise-grade aesthetics. Using React/Next.js for the frontend, we layered in Framer Motion for micro-interactions, Tailwind CSS for responsive design, and integrated calendar/CRM APIs to sync real-time meeting data. The backend (Node.js/TypeScript) powered AI content logic, deployed on Vercel for scalability.
Challenges we ran into
Balancing visual polish with performance was tough—animated elements (particle backgrounds, hover effects) risked slowing load times. We also had to ensure calendar/CRM integrations felt seamless, requiring iterative testing to refine the user flow for authentication and data sync.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a UI that’s both stunning and functional—users rave about the intuitive flow from meeting selection to prep generation. The AI-driven content feels personalized, not generic, and the responsive design works flawlessly across desktop/tablet. Most importantly, beta users reported cutting meeting prep time by 70%.
What we learned
Designing for enterprise users means prioritizing clarity over flash—even the most beautiful animations must serve a purpose. We also learned that AI tools succeed when they augment (not replace) human intuition; our content generation logic had to balance automation with flexibility for user edits.
What's next for this project
We’re adding team collaboration features (shared prep notes, role-based access) and expanding CRM/calendar integrations to cover more platforms. We’ll also refine the AI model to hyper-target industry-specific pain points and launch a mobile-responsive version for on-the-go prep.
