Inspiration
The project was inspired from the multiple links being handled during online college. I wanted to build something that would help me complete this task very quickly.
What it does
It opens a new browser window, logins into Google account, gets to the particular link given and closes mic and camera. Then joins the call. This is all done automatically.
How we built it
We used python, selenium 4 and edge options to build the project.
Challenges we ran into
Actually there was no mention in the edge documents regarding the version of selenium supported. After several hours of troubleshooting and internet research, I found that edge options only works with selenium 4 which is in beta.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Atleast I got the bot to work.
What we learned
How to use selenium as this was my first project with selenium. Obviously a different use case than the intended purpose it was created for.
What's next for MeetJoining-Automatic-CLI-Bot
Option to add a timetable and GUI.
