Inspiration
Meetings contain valuable ideas, decisions, and action items, but important details are often lost after the conversation ends. We wanted to create a way to preserve, search, and interact with meeting knowledge effortlessly.
What it does
MeetIQ converts meeting audio into structured insights by generating transcripts, summaries, topics, sentiment analysis, and action items. Users can ask questions through an AI chatbot and quickly retrieve relevant information from past meetings.
How we built it
We built MeetIQ using speech-to-text models for transcription, AI models for summarization and analysis, RAG-based retrieval for chatbot responses, and speaker recognition to map voices to participants. We added cloud storage and export support for easy access.
Challenges we ran into
Handling different audio formats, accurately identifying speakers, and connecting large transcripts with relevant AI responses were key challenges. Ensuring accurate context retrieval required careful system design.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created an end-to-end meeting intelligence system that transforms raw conversations into searchable, actionable knowledge and reduces the effort needed to revisit meetings.
What we learned
We learned that AI can do more than automate transcription—it can help teams understand conversations, discover insights, and make better decisions from accumulated knowledge.
What's next for MeetIQ
We plan to improve speaker recognition, support real-time meeting analysis, enhance collaboration features, and scale MeetIQ into a complete AI workspace for organizational knowledge.
