Inspiration

Meeting-to-Momentum was inspired by a common pain point: meetings often create valuable ideas, but the next steps get buried in notes, forgotten in chat threads, or lost after the call ends. I wanted to build something that helps people turn conversations into action immediately, instead of spending extra time cleaning up meeting notes manually.

What it does

Meeting-to-Momentum transforms meeting notes or transcripts into structured summaries, key decisions, action items, and follow-up messages. Users can also refine the output through a chat interface with commands like “make this shorter” or “assign this task to Alice.” The app includes a dashboard to track open, completed, and overdue tasks across meetings.

How we built it

We built Meeting-to-Momentum using MeDo, which helped us create the full-stack app through natural-language prompts and multi-turn iteration. We started with the core workflow: a home page, a meeting input form, a results page, and a dashboard. Then we refined the AI-generated output so it could be edited, saved, and reused in a practical way. MeDo made it easier to iterate quickly on the UI and app logic without rebuilding everything from scratch.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was making the AI output reliable and structured enough to be useful in a real workflow. We also had to think carefully about how to handle missing details like owners or due dates, and how to keep the refinement chat in sync with the visible meeting data. Another challenge was balancing a simple user experience with enough functionality to make the app feel complete.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that Meeting-to-Momentum turns unstructured meeting notes into something immediately actionable. The refinement chat is especially satisfying because it shows how users can interact with the generated content in a natural way. We’re also proud of building a polished productivity workflow that feels like a real product, not just a prototype.

What we learned

We learned how powerful it is to design around a specific workflow instead of trying to build a generic AI tool. We also learned that the most valuable AI features are often the ones that save time in a real, repetitive process. Building with MeDo showed us how much faster it is to go from idea to working app when the structure can be created and improved through conversation.

What's next for Meeting-to-Momentum

Next, we’d like to add integrations with tools like Notion, Slack, or Google Calendar so users can push tasks directly into their existing workflow. We also want to improve version history, add smarter task assignment, and support file uploads or live transcript input. Over time, we’d like Meeting-to-Momentum to become a complete AI meeting assistant for teams that want less admin work and more follow-through.
