Imagine a college student who has a great project idea but does not have the right teammates to build it. Another student may be good at Java, another may know web development, and another may be interested in Artificial Intelligence. However, they may not know each other or have an easy way to connect. This is the problem that inspired MeetBridge. MeetBridge is a student networking and collaboration platform that helps students find the right people to work with. First, a student creates an account using their email and password. After logging in, they reach the MeetBridge dashboard. The student can then create a profile by adding their name, skills, and interests. These profiles are stored in Firebase Firestore. Now suppose the student is looking for someone interested in Artificial Intelligence. They can use the matchmaking feature and search for "AI". MeetBridge checks the available student profiles and displays students whose interests match the search. If the student finds someone suitable, they can send a collaboration request. The other student can accept or decline the request. If the request is accepted, the students can communicate through a dedicated project chat. The chat allows the collaborators to exchange messages in real time, making it easier to discuss their project and coordinate their work. MeetBridge also has a project idea section. Students can post their own project ideas, describe what they want to build, and optionally upload project files. Other students can explore these ideas and find projects they are interested in. In this way, MeetBridge brings the entire collaboration process into one platform: Create a profile → Find people → Send a request → Collaborate → Chat → Build projects The main goal of MeetBridge is simple: instead of students struggling to find teammates on their own, the platform provides a common place where students can connect based on their skills and interests. MeetBridge is therefore more than just a student networking website. It is a platform designed to help students turn individual ideas into collaborative projects.
