Inspiration
Have you ever been in a situation where… say you want to study, and you wouldn’t mind if people joined, so you want to send an open invite to all your friends. BUT you don’t have a single gc with ALL of your friends. It would also be weird to post on your instagram story “I’m going to be studying at the library @5:00 pm”. You want casually just let your friends know that you are going to be somewhere/partaking in an event/or doing an activity, and you would not mind if your friends joined or not. You could send a google calendar invitation but this is really formal. You could message friends but like mentioned you don’t have a group chat or platform where all your friends exist. It would be hassle to text multiple people or multiple group chats. It would be convenient if there was some sort of social platform where one could simply post/announce they will be partaking in an event, and there is no pressure if your friends attend, but your friends know about this event and can join if they want.
The problem with group chats:
Lets say that your in a gym group chat with your friends so you and your friends can plan when they want to go the gym. At first it may be just you and your friends, but there is high chance that your friends will invite their friends to your group cha and this would cause an intersection of networks. You would be in a group chat full of people you have no connection with, and maybe you even dislike some of the individuals in the group chat. What our app service allows is your open invite only to be seen by your personal network.
The problem with messages and invites:
Often invites seem personal and important. Google calendar invitations feel too formal. We just want to causally let people know that you are partaking in an event and don’t mind/it would be nice if others joined

How we built it
Built using React, Javascript, and Firebase.
Challenges we ran into
This is the first hackathon of many of our group members, so we had a high learning curve.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Functional product with a extensive Figma.
What we learned
Many teammates learned entirely new languages and were able to contribute well. Final design is clean and this was also our first time using firebase.
