Inspiration - I was inspired by a past experience of receiving a super expensive medical bill. It can be paralyzing. Especially with many people losing their employer sponsored insurance during this pandemic, I thought this idea was more salient than ever.
What it does - MedtrimRX is an entity that provides hospital bill negotiation services and empowers patients by improving their financial wellness and lowering out of pocket medical expenses.
How I built it - It is a service that I've honed over time.
Challenges I ran into - It's hard to pin down an exact market pool. There are so many targets.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of - I'm proud that this idea tackles COVID19-related issues from a tertiary standpoint.
What I learned - I learned about new pricing models and ways or organize large sets of medical data.
What's next for MedtrimRX - Perfecting our business plan and pitching it to interested parties that will give us their time.
