We wanted to build something meaningful, something that could actually help people. That’s what pushed us to take on this project. We weren’t just focused on making it functional; we wanted it to be intuitive and easy to use for everyone.
This project taught us a lot, especially in UI/UX design and backend development with Flask. Since most of us were new to design, we had to figure out how to make things look good while keeping them simple. We also got better at working as a team, solving problems together, and making tough design decisions.
We used Flask for the backend, which handled things like data management. The frontend took a lot of trial and error because we wanted it to be clean and user-friendly. A big part of the project was setting up a login system, which was more complicated than we expected but super important for personalizing the user experience.
One of the hardest parts was deciding which features to include. We had so many ideas, but we had to be realistic about what we could actually build. The login page gave us some headaches, figuring out authentication, handling user sessions, and keeping everything secure was a challenge. After a long decision, we scrapped the idea and tried to focus on the main idea more. And since none of us were experienced in UI design, we had to keep tweaking things until the interface felt right.
