Inspiration

We got inspired by our grandparents having to be reminded to take their medications and not knowing if they have taken it while we were out. With this app we will be able to get the real time update and be able to make sure they are reminded about their prescriptions

What it does

MedTime is a prescription tracker that sends a notification out if you have not taken your prescription at the time you set. What makes us unique is the ability for a caretaker or a parent to track their kid or the patient. Once connected the caretaker is able to see the times at which the prescription should be taken, and if missed, they will also receive the notification

How we built it

We built the frontend using react.js and worked the backend using Firebase, Node.js, and MongoDB

Challenges we ran into

This was our first time working with react for a big project, and coupled with our limited experience with MongoDB made it really challenging to start.
