MedSync

Inspiration

The inspiration behind our app was to create an integrated medical system for the younger generations. Gen Z is a technology driven generation who expects fast and convenient results. This app perfectly combines the needs of Gen Z as well as holds a database of all of the medical information a person needs.

What it does

This app gives you a detailed account of your medical history, as well as any prescriptions you may need to take. By splitting your daily health care routine into manageable tasks, MedSync promotes a healthier lifestyle, one step at a time.

How we built it

We used react native to build our application.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge is creating the user interface. As beginner coders, we started with no experience in app development. Over the course of this hackathon, we got to explore various app development softwares such as Android Studio as well as Visual Studio mobile developer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Through our teamwork, we have been able to create some of the most complex programs we have ever made. Although we struggled developing the front end of this project, we were able to explore various languages such as react, swift, java, and javaScript.

What we learned

We learned that coding requires a level of determination and precision that we had not expected, as well as the importance of good teammates. Being able to support one another through such a long period of time is vital in order to boost our morale and develop a cohesive program.
