Inspiration
Everyday there are thousands of patients who face long periods of time when visiting a hospital before getting diagnosed/treated. This is due to clinics having to find patients medical history in order to get started with their procedure.
What it does
What MedSync aims to do is reduce the time it takes for doctors to retrieve and analyze pertinent medical information regarding the patient. MedSync provides each user with their own QR code in the app, which doctors can scan resulting in all related medical information to appear on the doctors computer. With various features ranging from insurance information to medications, doctors can be confident that they're making the correct calls with all this information at their disposal.
How we built it
We built this application mainly using FlutterFlow, along with Xcode for the iOS development.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges that we ran into was implementing a minimalistic, yet complete design which provides all necessary services, as well as organization of these services.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of everything that we've contributed to this application. ranging from brainstorming relevant ideas to sketching the overall design, and finally implementing everything that we planned and organized.
What we learned
We learned a lot about iOS development and mobile application development in general.
What's next for MedSync
We plan to enhance the app where health clinics can use it in the future leading to save thousands of lives.
