Inspiration

Medswift was inspired by the inefficiencies in Kenya’s emergency medical response, where ambulance delays often result in preventable deaths. Leveraging the model of ride-hailing apps like Uber, Medswift aims to provide an accessible, fast, and tech-enabled solution for dispatching emergency medical assistance.

What it does

Medswift is a mobile application that allows users to request ambulances in real time, view nearby emergency vehicles, and track their arrival via GPS. It includes features such as user and driver profiles, digital donations via PayPal, and access to first aid tips to empower users before professional help arrives.

How we built it

The system was built using Netlify AI. Agile methodology guided iterative development, incorporating user feedback through questionnaires, interviews, and prototype testing.
