Inspiration

I recalled the day I was searching for a dental clinic and I couldn't find one in my area cos I didn't know where to start and google wasn't very helpful either. So, this was an opportunity to come up with a more effective idea that would address that problem

What it does

MEDSPOT helps you find health centers easily in a certain location by collaborating with health centers to enrich it's database while making it easier for users to locate these health centers.

How we built it

MEDSPOT is built on LARAVEL, a powerful php framework that makes development fast and easy, other tools are, LIVEWIRE, ALPINE JS, TAILWINDCSS, GIT, MySQL, etc

Challenges we ran into

Being the only technical person in my team presented a significant challenge, as it left me to handle the majority, if not all, of the work

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Facing this challenge head-on, despite lacking major helping hands, has helped me cement my belief that I am not afraid to face any challenge.

What we learned

We've learnt how to be persistent, and what hackerthons are really like. This is our first and it was quite and exciting journey

What's next for MEDSPOT

There are so many features that needs to be implemented and this idea is one that will really be of help to a lot of people. We will continue to work on it and transform it to a very useful application
