Inspiration
We were inspired by the goodwork that MSD did and wanted to build an AI tool.
What it does
It is a friend for the healthcare professions. It is the Doctor for healthcare professionals. It is an all-in-one tool to help healthcare professionals learn about the healthcare scene.
How we built it
We built it using a multitude of tools. Using React for frontend. Using RASA to build a conversational AI chatbot. As well as, python flask, gpt-3 and DALL-E for the backend.
Challenges we ran into
Given the short-amount of time, we had difficulty in integrating the various platforms. Nevertheless, we managed to build our minimally viable product (MVP).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we managed to use tools that we never used before and learnt on the go to buil a working prototype.
What we learned
The power of perseverance and that the simplest idea is often the best.
What's next for MedSimplifieD
We will look to make it better and hope it can be the future.
