A generic drug is one that has been produced to be the same as a previously approved medicine; that is, it has the same composition but is less expensive. Most consumers choose non-generic medicine instead of generic medicine since they are unaware of the generic medicines, resulting in them purchasing more expensive treatment. So, in order to address this issue, we intend to develop an online platform that informs us of the generic name of the prescription recommended by the doctor as well as the location of the nearest drug shop. Because uncontrolled usage might be dangerous, generic pharmaceuticals and drugstores will only be added to the site after verification. We can connect a web platform inventory so that clients may locate the proper medicine in the right spot. It would be tough for the user to remember the names of all the drugs when going to buy them. As a result, consumers will utilise our web platform to seek for the needed medications and receive generic salts of the meds. Simply click on the add to list button to add the medications to the list. You may even download, distribute, and forward the list to a nearby medical pharmacy. If the user has difficulty finding a nearby drug store, our web platform will provide a live interface where users can find the nearest drugstore as well as get the relevant details about the store as well as about the person in charge within the store, so that the user can make a call at the store and share the list of medicines generated by the platform previously. There are people who are unable to type and search because they do not know how to type or for other reasons, thus we intend to implement an OCR tool to address this issue. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is a technique that analyses a page's text and converts the letters into code that may be used to process data. OCR is a technology used to recognise printed or handwritten text characters inside digital pictures of paper files, such as when scanning paper records. We created the OCR using several Python packages. We have also integrated the functionality of a chatbot, which will be in the lower-right portion of our platform, so that any user who wants to know about the platform can easily access it, and if he/she encounters any issues with the searching part or any other functionality within the platform, they can directly communicate with the technical department.
