The best project ever in Saudi Arabia to utilize ambulance drones to deliver first response injury service & primary

healthcare services to pilgrimage in Mena Holly Place in Mekkah during Hajj.

What it does

Patients with injures in hard to get to places, where architectural, natural, and human jams exist. It is an ambulance drone service

that recruit trained volunteers to ensue the call of duty on time to ease your suffering. A care episode using Medrones ambulance

service is activated by a push of a button on a wearable customized watch. Once a patient is in distress, a notification is sent to ( 3)

nearby volunteers with and without healthcare background, 911 command center, the motawaf ( Pilgrimage guy in charge), and

the hospital in case patient is transferred. The volunteer act as the main care provider aided by ambulance Drones that has

emergency medicine doctor who is again another volunteer. Please note that this services is available in MOH, yet doctors are paid

and patient have to Saudi beside service being in Arabic language only, our service tele-consultation technology overcome the

barrier of healthcare personnal cost and language issues via a virtual global health care volunteer pool. To add to this a wearable

smart watch is both by a pilgrimage for a fee , although pilgrims by the smarth watch to connect to our system. It is a Makkah

savinior customize to hold their hajj memories as it has camera features, where they can as many picture as like.

How we built it

The system is combination between Android Application and a web app based on Node.JS , We have used some of Google and Firebase APIs that services ,some props are used like smart watch and flying drones with video conferencing capabilities, Which all integrate together to provide a comprehensive solution

Challenges we ran into

From the technical part of view we needed access to gps location as we are in a closed building we had to mock multiple locations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of challenging ourselves to make the hajj trip memorable, safe by utilizing MEDrones an idea app with SMART WATCH which has features that was customized to hajj services
and save people lives.

What's next for Medrones

We can expand our idea, to have the monitoring dashboard to the local area booth, where they can see how many volunteers are in the area and dispatch the drones from the local area without central control and we increase our system analytics management to give much more analytics. Create a VOIP Based Solution for Drones and E – Consultant. MEDrons can give more services that could be automated according to customer needs.
