Inspiration
Medical students often struggle to connect foundational sciences to clinical practice while managing cognitive load and stress. Many existing tools are either too technical, too generic, or not accessible for neurodiverse learners.
We wanted to create a platform that uses AI to provide adaptive, gamified, and accessible learning, while supporting wellness and scaling globally.
What it does
MedRecap AI combines AI, gamification, and accessibility to enhance medical education. Features include:

How we built it
- Frontend: React 19 + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS
- AI Core: Google Gemini 2.5 (Logic/Text & Diagram Generation)
- Gamification: Matching games, visual recall, mnemonics
- Architecture: Single Page Application (SPA) with real-time AI requests; offline mode supported
Challenges we ran into
