Inspiration
Our own experiences with not receiving information from a doctor really inspired us to come up with a solution to this.
What it does
The program is designed to make the process of creating after visit summaries easier and more efficient in order to make information more accessible for patients.
How we built it
First, we used Code Anywhere in order to write the code for our program to fully function. Meanwhile, we had team members working on our Google Slide presentation and researching for background information that could aid our product.
Challenges we ran into
We had to convert our program from .net to java in order for the program to run correctly. Furthermore, many members lacked experience with coding and programming.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to run the program with the help of our mentor, Tim. Additionally, we are proud of our teamwork throughout this process and being able to endure a challenge.
What we learned
We learned how to code and convert files.
What's next for MeDoc
We plan on expanding globally, adding more languages to our program, making it more user-friendly, and adding more security measures.
