MeDoBuildCore Contractor Platform Dashboard

Inspiration

Construction teams still rely heavily on spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected tools to manage contracts, subcontractors, and project workflows. This often leads to delays, lack of visibility, and operational inefficiencies. I wanted to create a centralized, intelligent dashboard that brings everything together—giving contractors real-time control and clarity. Using MeDo, I aimed to rapidly prototype a scalable solution that simplifies complex construction operations.

What it does

MeDoBuildCore is a contractor operations dashboard that enables users to: Manage contracts, projects, and subcontractors in one place Track active contracts, pending reviews, and subcontractor credentials Navigate through a structured flow: Subcontractors → Trades → Contracts → Details Monitor security events via Threat Monitor and Audit Logs Handle invoicing and document management Gain quick insights through a clean, intuitive dashboard for both Desktop and Mobile

It acts as a single source of truth for construction operations.

How we built it

Designed a modular dashboard architecture with sidebar navigation (Operations, Security, Platform) Used MeDo to structure prompts, define workflows, uploeded documents of jpeg, pdf types using MeDo Upload tab and generated UI/logic efficiently Created reusable components for: Dashboard metrics Project and contract listings Audit logs and threat monitoring Implemented hierarchical drill-down navigation Applied a construction-themed UI with clean, modern design principles

Challenges we ran into

Structuring realistic data flows (contracts ↔ subcontractors ↔ trades) Designing intuitive drill-down navigation without overwhelming users Balancing feature richness vs simplicity in the dashboard Avoiding random/generated data and keeping scenarios realistic
