Inspiration

Planning a trip can be time-consuming and overwhelming, especially when trying to organize destinations, schedules, and budgets. I wanted to create a simple solution that helps users generate structured trip plans quickly and efficiently.

What it does

This web-based trip planner allows users to generate personalized travel itineraries automatically. Users can input their preferences, and the system will create a structured trip plan that can be downloaded as a PDF for easy access and sharing.

We built this project using MeDo tools

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was generating well-structured and readable trip plans dynamically. Additionally, implementing PDF generation with proper formatting and layout consistency required several adjustments.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully created a system that automates trip planning and provides users with a clean, downloadable PDF. The integration between frontend, backend, and PDF generation works smoothly.

What we learned

We gained experience in full-stack web development, especially in handling dynamic data, generating documents, and improving user experience through automation.

What's next for MeDo-Plan

In the future, we plan to add AI-based recommendations, real-time travel data, budgeting features, and user account systems to make the platform more personalized and powerful.
