Inspiration

We noticed how there is no one organized place for all our medical documents. So we went ahead and created one. A place to keep all your medical documents safe and and at one place.

What it does

Our product MedKept aims to manage all the medical reports of patient and keeps it inside a safe node of a blockchain. Doctors and patients can easily view the report dedicated only to them and no third party figure will be able to access it.

How we built it

The blockchain part of MedKept is written in solidity and deployed using HardHat on the rinkeby test network.
The backend that connects with blockchain is written with the help of expressjs and web3js
The frontend of the project is written with the help of react and redux

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to that we have completed a prototype of the project and the contract is fully functional with all the security issues implemented so that no 3rd party can access the reports

What we learned

We have learned a lot about collaboration and blockchain. It was definitely challenging and obviously not a one day project. But we are proud that we have learned ways to actually code with too much pressure of completing it as customers might need it asap.

What's next for MedKept

We have plans to make the UI better and add more features to the backend as the current does not look complete and the backend does not connect with all the contract functions
