In numerous households, the disposal of unused medications occurs due to insufficient information regarding their usage, manufacturing details, and expiration dates. This not only contributes to environmental harm but also signifies a substantial waste of valuable resources. Addressing this issue is crucial for promoting responsible medication management and reducing the environmental and resource-related impacts.

What it does

Our approach involves imprinting unique alphanumeric codes on the front side of each tablet strip, allowing users to access vital information about the medicine via our website. Pharmaceutical companies can create accounts on our platform to update their medicine information.Our Features are:

  1. By providing users with information about the medicines' manufacturing and expiry dates, we empower them to use their medication wisely, ultimately reducing medical hazardous waste.
  2. Users receive timely notifications about upcoming expiration dates and a daily remainder to stay on track with their medication schedules.
  3. Whenever a medicine is scanned, its data gets stored in the database. When the medicine reaches its expiry date, it is automatically removed from the database. This process helps users keep track of the medicines in their homes, making it easier to search during emergencies. Many of us often end up buying medicines even when we already have them, and this system facilitates better awareness of existing medication. ## How we built it We built it using Mongodb atlas, Express , React , Html5 , Tailwind CSS , CSS , Javascript . We have built two login systems for user and for Pharma Companies. ## Challenges we ran into To retrieve the data of all the Pharma Companies for the accessing of user ## Accomplishments that we're proud of We have generated a Scanner giving all the information about a medicine ## What we learned We have learned how to use Mongodb Atlas to add,retrieve,delete and read the data easily.
