Project Story

Healthcare reports are often written using complex medical terminology that can be difficult for patients and their families to understand. Many people leave clinics or receive lab reports without fully understanding what their results mean, leading to confusion, anxiety, and misinformation.

MediSpeak was created to bridge this communication gap. The idea was simple: if AI can understand medical language, it should also be able to explain it in a way that everyday people can understand.

MediSpeak takes medical reports and converts them into clear, patient-friendly explanations. It extracts important measurements, explains medical terms in simple language, and highlights key findings without overwhelming users with technical jargon. To improve accessibility, the platform also supports Kannada translations and adapts explanations for different audiences, including children and senior citizens.

Our goal is not to replace doctors, but to help patients better understand their reports before speaking with healthcare professionals. By making medical information more accessible, MediSpeak empowers people to have more informed conversations about their health.

We envision a future where understanding a medical report is as easy as reading a news article, regardless of language, age, or medical background.
