Inspiration

A significant portion of lives are lost due to the absence of timely medical attention. Startlingly, 27% of deaths in India occur as a direct consequence of inadequate medical care. This alarming statistic highlights a pressing need for solutions that address this critical gap.

What it does

MediSiren is more than just an application; it's a lifeline for the ones who need immediate medical attention. In the realm of healthcare, every second matters, and MediSiren has been crafted with a user-centric approach to ensure that every touchpoint is a step toward life-saving care.

Contributed in the frontend development of the project.
Worked on the driver's side of the application which is a feature for ambulance driver or any cab or auto driver who wants to register themselves into this app and are willing to help in the emergency situations. Also implemented the login page for the driver if he has already registered. The driver gets the notification whenever someone has booked the ride and he can accept or decline the ride as per availability.
Also implemented the scan me page which is an additional feature for the app which redirects to the website which gives the information about first-aid during the emergency situations. This includes qr- code detection feature as well.

Shravani Kamthankar
Contributed in the ideation of the project as in which domain should our team be selecting the problem statement and developing a solution for it. Also contributed in making the splash screen of the app which conveys the overall idea of what the app is . Worked on locating the current location of the user using a 'Marker' so that while in emergency , the user doesn't need to enter the pickup location and also the destination ,as the nearest ambulances , cab or auto will be automatically detected on the maps(detecting the nearest rides is not yet implemented as we have just created a prototype to deliver our idea). Worked on linking all the pages of our app. Also added the button to request a ride after selecting the preferred ride on the map and besides added a button for the one who wants to serve as a driver.

Manasi Lavekar
Contributed in the backend as well as on the front end part of the project. In the front end part we have made the sign up page where the user have to insert his email id, password as well as guardians phone number .The guardians phone number is a additional feature as after sign up if the user booked the cab or ambulance the live location will be shared to the guardian .Also contributed in making the navbar on the google maps page which include the user info and additional feature of scan me.
In the backend part all the data is saved and processed using firebase as well as also contributed in linking the google maps.

During the hackathon, I worked on crafting an engaging and informative presentation that effectively communicates the key features and benefits of our ambulance booking app. The presentation was designed to captivate the audience's attention from the very beginning and highlight the unique value proposition of our app. I also implemented the login page of the ambulance booking app. The login page serves as the gateway for users to access the app's features securely.

Aarushi
In my role within this project, with the team members was responsible for the core functionalities. We successfully integrated an interactive map interface that enables to get users current location .This offers a user-friendly experience, allowing individuals to access critical emergency services. By designing the interaction between the user, map, ensured a seamless experience that aligns with the application's primary goal of providing efficient and timely medical assistance.

Vaishnavi Mahale
Contributed to the ideation phase and developed anonymous user login feature for situations such as road accidents. Bystanders usually hesitate to help patients as they don't want to provide their information. Using this feature they can sign in anonmously and help the patient.
