Our journey began with a simple question: How can we make health and wellness accessible to those with medical conditions who face unique challenges in managing their fitness and diet? We wanted to create a solution that not only addresses their needs but also empowers them to take control of their health journey.

What it does

MediMind is a React Native application tailored for individuals with medical conditions. It acts as a digital ally, aiding users in monitoring their health metrics, employing an AI-powered symptom checker, and devising diets based on intelligent AI recommendations that align with their specific health needs. MediMind is a useful tool that bridges the gap between health management and daily living.

How we built it

Using the power of React Native, we crafted a cross-platform app that ensures a seamless user experience across iOS and Android devices. We integrated a diverse array of APIs and embedded health-centric features to bring our vision to life.

Challenges we ran into

Initially, we opted to use Swift for app development; however, compatibility issues with XCode presented significant issues for our team. The transition to React Native, although time-consuming, proved to be a pivotal strategy in overcoming these challenges.
