Inspiration
Our inspiration for creating MediMerge stemmed from the need to streamline medical data management. We noticed a gap in the healthcare sector where patient records were often fragmented across different systems, making it challenging for healthcare providers to access comprehensive patient information efficiently. We aimed to develop a solution that would centralize and integrate medical records, ultimately improving patient care and workflow efficiency.
What it does
MediMerge has following features:
- AI Disease Predictor: To predict the disease using symptoms
- Emergency SOS feature: To find the ambulance in emergency situations
- Medibase: To find nearby medical shops, clinics, and hospitals
- Appointment System: To book appointments with doctors
- Dashboard: To check out your reports, prescriptions, and spendings.

How we built it
Technologies Used We employed the Astro framework to explore TypeScript integration within Next.js. Our implementation included Firebase for database operations using Firestore and authentication features. Additionally, we utilized Supabase for communication and real-time data management.
Challenges we ran into
- Configuration with nextjs and firebase
- Integrating all the features at one platform
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completed the full project in the stimulated time and have plans to make it better product.
What we learned
We gained experience working with diverse frameworks and deploying them as web applications. Additionally, we learned to configure and manage databases that varied significantly in their structures and functionalities.
What's next for MediMerge
Future plans include adding more features and incorporating LLM (Large Language Models) for predicting future medical needs and outcomes based on reviews and user input.
