Inspiration

i wanted to see about the medicine and i googled it and for some medicines i had to go into some website and then i had to search but i though of making a website where i can get the medicine information with the dosage and all kind of stuffs so that i dont have to search it on google and go to different websites to see what it does.

What it does

if we search about a medicine then it gives the information on what it does and how much dosages you should take but this is just information, it tells about side effects and also gives information about the manufacturer.

How we built it

we built it on bolt website and have implemented api from openFDA to search the medicines and get the exact information on the medicine to get the accurate info, we have made simple outline of this project so that it is easy to use.

Challenges we ran into

I got challenge into api and it was not showing proper information on some medicines so had to solve it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we got good interface with proper medicine information and easy to use.

What we learned

we learned about how to implement different apis into codes and learned about how medical websites work.

What's next for MediInfo

we can get online consulting for patients, and we can add online appointments booking for needy patients or home visits.
