Medilab is a landing page that allows health practitioners to share information about their health facility to patients, services offered, time of availability & book appointments with specialists.
Health is a fundamental need in society, and every day there are sick people or patients who go for regular checkups. Lately, there are a lot of trained medics and medical facilities to breach the gap that comes with health-related issues that require specialists. Most hospitals lack websites for patients to find contact information to confirm the availability of various specialties or book appointments
Medilab is a hospital landing page that allows hospitals to share the services they offer, departments they have, specialists, and their availability, reviews, and contact information for booking appointments.
This is a solo project I built by first selecting a health design on Behance then went ahead and started building the webpage using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript on VS Code(IDE) to implement the designs
started the program day 2 and was unable to achieve complete responsive design
this is my first hackathon to participate in so having settled for a specific idea and worked on it is a great idea and achievement
I have learned that hackathons shouldn't be scary they're open for everyone to give a try practicing their skills. Also one build a lot of stuff within a short period of time
The project is incomplete but hoping to complete the project and approach a few hospitals near me to help them customize the site to belong to them. Also in the future maybe use React to rebuild the future to make it more progressive and add more interaction & functionality. The Web page had a part where users book appointments or ask for their past medical records this is worth implementing in the future with the guide of health practitioners.
